ABOUT ME

Natasha’s obsession for mehndi (henna) began in the Spring of 2008. Her journey as a self taught henna artist began with mindless doodles with a cone on paper bored at her desk job. Those doodles years later have taken Natasha to people and places she couldn’t have imagined. After six months, she quickly realized that her once artistic expression had transformed into a new career path towards her future. Henna art allowed her to bring together key aspects of what she wanted in a career: helping women feel beautiful, flexibility and a way to incorporate her Indian heritage into her everyday life. Two years from the start of her journey Natasha turned into an entrepreneur establishing Henna By Natasha in 2010. 

That same year she received her license in cosmetology and esthetics from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle, WA. Though she also trained in skin treatment, hair and makeup, she specialized in henna & eyelash extensions. In 2014 she moved to Los Angeles, using both her artistic skills she opened My Shanti Bar in 2015 in Studio City, CA a lash and henna bar which grew in popularity thanks to the likes of her celebrity clients. In 2016, she became a mom and decided to close My Shanti Bar by 2019 to move near family in Seattle, WA. She currently is a licensed Cosmetologist in WA & CA and works as a traveling celebrity artist between both st
