My journey began with mindless doodles on a piece of paper at my desk. It suddenly sparked an idea upon waking one morning… could my creative scribbles help be the start of something new? I pondered for a short time and realized that my artistic drawings had transpired into a whole new prospect for my future. My art would allow me to bring together the key aspects I had been searching for in a career. My very own business and it would incorporate my Indian heritage. Henna was a gateway to a new endeavor…and so it began in the Spring of 2008.
I have had clients for occasions ranging from weddings, cultural festivities, corporate parties, birthdays and baby showers. The art of Mehndi (henna) allows me to have the freedom to create from scratch. What is left behind is an end product of beauty and the client is able to enjoy the art I have created. I find great satisfaction in taking part and staying connected to my Indian culture through henna and becoming exposed to other cultures as well. I truly enjoy being a part of each individual’s special day, whatever the occasion may be.
I graduated from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle, Washington in 2009. I am now a licensed Cosmetologist and Esthetician in the state of Washington and California. Also, certified in lash extensions and threading. I am available for all events, but specialize in East Indian brides offering head-toe packages and being your one stop shop.
I look forward to working with you!
